Don Potter Memorial Mural - Artist

• Worked with Mr. Potter’s family to create a concept that would adequately memorialize him. The mural was to be painted in his unofficially designated parking spot at Conway Regional Fitness Center in Conway, Arkansas.

• Designed and detailed mural sketch

• Prepared mural surface on asphalt and painted mural

Festival of Chairs benefiting Children’s Advocacy Alliance - Artist

• United with Festival of Chairs’ board member to create chair design

• Volunteered time, talent, and equipment to create a art chair, Summer of Love

• Summer of Love raised over $1,000 in the live auction for Children’s Advocacy Alliance

Kings Live Music Mural Series - Artist

• Hired by Kings Live Music (Conway, AR) to paint a series of three murals each depicting a different musical artist: Johnny Cash, Freddy Mercury, and Dolly Parton

• Communicated with Kings Live Music management about space and time considerations, worked around the business’ public hours schedule, and completed all murals according to deadline

Main Street Pocket Park Cookbooks Mural - Artist

• Worked with Downtown Little Rock Partnership to design and develop Arkansas-themed cookbooks for the Main Street Pocket Park

• Met all deadlines for concept design and mural completion

 

June 2021

Forest Park Elementary; Community Garden Mural - Artist

• Collaborated with Forest Park PTO board members to create concept for colorful and educational outdoor mural 

• Executed outdoor mural including priming and prepping surface, drawing and painting the mural, and finishing with a UV protective coating

Main Street Pocket Park “Eat Local” Mural - Artist

• Selected by Downtown Little Rock Partnership to paint original mural design in the Main Street Pocket Park

• Met all deadlines for the submissions process and mural completion

• Provided coloring-book page based on mural design to be included in Downtown Little Rock’s Public Art coloring pages project

Arkansas Arts Center Museum School Sale Virtual Open House - Artist

• Concepted and developed a live painting performance as part of the virtual entertainment provided by the Arkansas Arts Center (now the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts)

• Staged backyard for live Zoom performance including lighting, tripods for camera, easels for canvas, painting supplies and costuming

• Performed “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” live painting performance for the Zoom attendees and members of the Arkansas Arts Center.
