Kings Live Music Murals

In 2010 Katie began a painting series of famous musicians starting with Willie Nelson. Kings Live Music offered to display her series which grew to include Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, and Michael Jackson. The partnership led to Katie being commissioned to paint a series on murals throughout the interior of the live music venue. The murals depict Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, and Freddie Mercury. The resulting project is a diverse collection of Katie's art devoted to  music icons.
