I had so many great costumes submitted this Halloween for my costume contest I really had a hard time deciding who to choose as the winner! To briefly recap my critieria, I was looking for:

1. Creativity in the costume design

2. A hoop being used as an integral part of the costume (not just an afterthought)

3. Hand-made or self-designed costumes as opposed to store-bought.

First place wins a pair of my glow-in-the-dark Candy Corn minis and originally, that was the only prize I was giving away. However, I was so impressed with every costume that was submitted, I'm going to go ahead and give 25% off coupons to everyone who participated. Thank you all, and now, without further ado, here are the costumes...

1. I loved this action shot!

2. The hoop matches the costume so well

3. Such creativity with the small hoops on the hat as well.

4. Again, I love how her hoop design goes so well with the costume.

5. MockingJay from Hunger Games. A vision in gold!

6. Hooping Jesse had already removed her costume before the photo, but we all know that feeling, right?

Check out the rocking make-up on the Day of the Dead hooper!

7. I'm sure she was endless entertainment in the office!

8. Definitely scoring some points with that ring!

9. They'reeeeee Grrrrrrrrrrrreat! Tony the Tiger is always encouraging kids to be active, right? And what better way than hooping! The face paint here is awesome!

10. Wow, I was blown away by this costume. Such a creative way to use a hoop!

11. (not pictured) I got an adorable hooping Dopey costume via Instagram from @konnerlee.

AND THE WINNER IS................

I was so impressed with the creativity and effort that went into this costume. Each feather is hand cut and indivifually sewn on. The wings detach at the wrists and shoulders so it's hoopable...dazzling and practicle! Thank you for entering, and congratulations, you are the winner!

There's a pair of Candy Corn Glow-in-the-Dark minis coming your way!

Thank you to everyone who participated, and I look forward to what hooping costumes you can come up with next year!
